Course details

Assessments

Assessments are both practical and academic with SAT short answer tests. Vital practical skills with be practiced and developed before each assessment.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements to be discussed at interview – but an interest in cookery and food is important.

Progression

After completion of this course you can progress on to the Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 2.

Facilities and resources

We have industry leading training kitchens with state of the art professional equipment such as: ice-cream machine, thermomix, combi ovens and induction stoves.

– Your academic or vocational qualification.

– Maths and English Language development – if you have not achieved GCSE grade 4 in either of these subjects.

– Work Experience – hours will vary depending on your qualification and course level.
